A small celadon bowl that once lived in my kitchen — used for dipping sauces, salt, oil, or anything that needed a home for a moment. At the bottom, a small koi fish reveals itself only when the bowl is nearly empty, a quiet reminder of presence in the smallest rituals.
I’ve collected vessels like this for years — catch-alls for rings, condiments, or fragments of daily life. Each one holds a sense of ceremony in the ordinary: a luxurious experience found in the tiniest gesture.
